Isadore D. Fuehrer, 80, of Marshfield died Sun. Nov. 2, 2008 at his home.

Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Isadore D. "Izzy" Fuehrer, 80, of Marshfield died Sun. Nov. 2, 2008, at his home. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wed., Nov. 5, 2008, at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) with the Rev. Peter Manickam officiating. Private family burial will be in St. Kilian's Catholic Church in Blenker.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at a later date. Family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wed. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI).

Isadore was born June 14, 1928, in Arpin to Ignatius and Catherine (Koller) Fuehrer. He married Lucille Lobner on Sept. 18, 1951, in Blenker.

Isadore is survived by Lucille; six children, Joanne (Dennis) Wilcott of Appleton, Peggy (Gary) Carolfi of Milladore, Susan (Tommy) Berklund of Wisconsin Rapids, Thomas (Dawn) Fuehrer of Auburndale, Paul (Amy) Fuehrer of Arpin and Steven Fuehrer of Spencer; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, Jim (Jean) Fuehrer of Milladore and Roger (Carol) Fuehrer of Milwaukee; and a sister, Marie (Leo) Bayerl of Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Joseph and Jeffrey; and three brothers, Vincent, Mark and Edward.

Isadore loved his family and they were the focus of his life. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

"We love you Dad. You were our comfort and always our biggest fan! We will miss your smile and your kind and supportive words. We are all better people for having you in our life, Dad and we will miss you so very much."
