Lindquist, Eleanor (19 Feb. 1899 - 11 June 1985)

PITTSVILLE - Mrs. Carl (Eleanor) Lindquist, 86, of 5480 Second St., Pittsville, died at 4:25 p.m. Tues. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for the past week.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sat. at Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Virgil Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Fri. and then Sat.until time of services at Hansen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lindquist was born Feb. 19, 1989 in Duluth, Minn., to Charles and Hilma (Anderson) Marsh. She received her education in Duluth. She was married to Carl Lindquist Dec. 27, 1919 in Duluth. They lived in Duluth, Minot, N.D., St. Louis, Mo., Park Ridge, Ill., and Chicago before moving to Marshfield in 1942. Mr. Lindquist was an optician at Marshfield Clinic. After the death of her husband, Jan. 20, 1955, she moved to Pittsville.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 54 Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lois Knapp, Pittsville; a son, Donald, Redondo Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by four sisters and one brother.
