Schiller, Paul K. (8 Oct. 1891 - 4 Apr. 1975)

 

Services for Paul K. Schiller, 83, of Marshfield, will be at 2 p.m. Mon. in the Hansen Chapel. Mr. Schiller died at 2:45 p.m. Fri. at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards where he had been residing the past five years.

 

Officiating will be the Rev. Peter K. Anderson, associate pastor of Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

 

Visitations may be made at the Hansen Chapel from 2-9 p.m. Sun. and until time of services Monday.

 

Mr. Schiller was born Oct. 8, 1891 in Pittsville, where he received his education. He farmed on Route 5, Marshfield and also worked for the former Roddis Plywood Corporation (now Weyerhauser Company) until retiring 8 years ago.


He married the former Lillian Stover on April 9, 1918, at Pittsville. She survives.


Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Ule, Marshfield, Mrs. Richard (Arlene) Polnow, Union, Ill., and Mrs. Larry Liles, Capron, Ill.; seven sons, Raymond, Gerald and Vernon, all of McHenry, Ill., Glen, Lawrence and David, all of Woodstock, Ill., and Clayton, Union, Ill.; two brothers, Max, Arpin and Adolph, Wisconsin Rapids; 57 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
 

Preceding him in death were five brothers, a sister and a son.


He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
