Robak, Carrie (4 Jan. 1909 - 10 May 1992)

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Carrie O’Shasky-Robak, 83, Rudolph, mother of Sylvester O’Shasky of Arpin, died Sun. at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, where she had lived since April 20.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wed. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. John Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation will be at Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, from 2-8 p.m. today and from 9-10:30 a.m. Wed.. A parish wake service will be at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 4, 1909, in the Portage County town of Linwood, to the late Jacob and Cecelia Konkol. She was married to John O’Shasky June 6, 1998, and he died June 14, 1970. She was married to Sylvester Robak April 27, 1974, and he died March 20, 1976.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Wisconsin Rapids Senior Citizens.

Survivors also include one other son, Valerian O’Shasky of Rudolph; three daughters, Alice Bushmaker and Janet Rybicki, both of Rudolph, and LaVerne Blazel of Wisconsin Rapids; one step-son, Stanley Robak of Bensonville, Ill.; two step-daughters, Virginia Kneich and Diane Mallek, both of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Chester Konkol of Wisconsin Rapids and Bernard Konkol of Amherst Junction; one sister, Sophie Cantrell of Colton, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.
