Kowalefski, Joan Yvonne (Dassow) (1934? - January 30, 2012)

Former Medford resident Joan Kowalefski, 77, Wauwatosa, died on Monday, Jan. 30 at Care-Age Health Care Center in Brookfield, where she was a palliative care patient.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. at Krause Funeral Home in Milwaukee. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.


Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Reunited with her beloved husband George on January 30, 2012, at age 77. Loving mom of Alan (Georgine), William (Debbie), Debra (Michael) Pastorek, Louis, Mary (Ron) Lewis, Sally (Jeff) Turner and Tim (Debbie).

Proud grandma of 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John (Barbara) Dassow, Linda Kenyon, Karon Grube and the late Wanita. Also loved by other family and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, at 10:00-11:15 AM. Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
