Ramirez, Domingo G. (May 1, 1957 - June 10, 2011)

 

Domingo G. Ramirez, age 54, of Union Grove, Wis., passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wis.

Domingo was born on May 1, 1957 in Crystal City, Texas, to the late Juan and Marguarita Ramirez.


Domingo traveled the country extensively with his family as a migrant worker, settling in the Kenosha area. He was formerly employed at Accu-Turn Precision Machining in Union Grove.


Domingo loved fishing and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and enjoyed going to Miller Park. He enjoyed traveling and watching football. Most of all, he loved the time spent with his wife, Barb, and her family.


Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Niemi) Ramirez of Union Grove; a sister-in-law, Joan (Randy) Brandner of Merrill; two brothers-in-law, Allan (Janice) Niemi of Westboro and Dale (Germaine) Niemi of Ogema. Domingo is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his cat, Cali.


He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law.


Funeral services for Domingo Ramirez were held on Wednesday, June 15 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prentice. Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech officiated. Interment was at Leavitt Creek Cemetery in Ogema.


Generations Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Tomahawk assisted the family with arrangements.
