Willett, Lesley A. (7 Aug. 1926 - 23 Apr. 2003)

STETSONVILLE - Lesley A. Willett, 76, of Stetsonville died April 23, 2003, at Memorial Health Center in Medford.

No services or visitation are scheduled. Cremainal internment will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

He was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Merrill to James and Inga (Stevenson) Willett. He served with the U.S. Army from Dec. 1945 to May 1947, spending some of that time overseas. He married Hazel A. Schlais on Sept. 2, 1950, in Medford. He retired from the U.S. Forestry Service office in Medford in 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel A. Willett of Stetsonville; daughters, Gail (Mike) Linzner of Owen and Nina (Don) Schreiner of Arlington Heights, Ill.; son, Lesley Jr. (Joyce) Willett of Abbotsford; seven grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dorothy (LeRoy) Jones of Rib Lake, Lois (Ray) Brietzke of Omaha, Neb., and Faye (George) Buska of Rib Lake.
