Schaller, Loren (July 14, 1922)

“Sons Of The Congregation Who Entered The Ministry”

Loren Schaller, son of Pastor and Mrs. Herbert Schaller, was born on July 14, 1922, at Renville, Minnesota.

He came to Medford with his parents and family when his father accepted the call from Immanuel’s congregation in January of 1926.

He graduated from Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin in 1945 and from the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1948.

He served Wisconsin Synod congregations in Tappen, North Dakota, Osceola, Wisconsin and Monticello, Minnesota.

He then taught in the Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton and served as principal of Manitowoc Lutheran High School from 1960 through 1975.

He is presently serving as professor at Lutheran High School in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
