Ramm, Ethel Ann (25 Jan. 1930 - 15 Apr. 2009)

Ethel A. Ramm, 79, of formerly of Marshfield, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the Bethel Center in Arpin under the loving care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Friday.

Ethel Ann Ramm was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Medford, a daughter of Herman and Evelynn Blasel. She attended school in Medford, graduating from Medford High School.

The former Ethel Blasel was united in holy marriage to Harvey Ramm on Aug. 14, 1947, in Medford. The couple made their home in the Medford area until moving to Marshfield. Mrs. Ramm was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store and spending time with her children.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Harvey, of Marshfield; three children, Nancy Ramm, Owen, Starla (Edward) Wagner, Marshfield, and Brian Ramm, Marshfield; three grandchildren, Brandon, Blaine and Brittni Ramm. She is further survived by one sister, Lois (James) Jari of Medford; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Ramm is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenny and sister Lucille.
