Strebig, Russell E. (23 Dec. 1942 – 17 Jan. 1991)

RIB LAKE – Russell E. Strebig, Rib Lake, died at his home Thursday following a lingering illness. Services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday at Dallman Funeral Home, Rib Lake, with the Rev. John Meyer officiating.

The body will be cremated after the service. Burial will be in ?view Cemetery, Rib Lake, at a later date.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Russell was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Galesville, to Elmer and Eleanor (Leischer) Strebig. He married Virginia Heisler on Sept. 24, 1965, in Milwaukee.

He moved to the Chelsea area with his parents at a young age, and attended Chelsea and Westboro area schools.

He worked in the woods for a time and then moved to Milwaukke where he worked in construction. After his marriage, they returned to Rib Lake where he owned and operated Strebig Milk ?. He sold the business in ? due to illness.

Strebig was a member of ? Night Men’s Bowling League, Saturday Night Mixed ? League, Bird’s Nest ? Pool Team and its ? Mark Darts Team. He also was a member of the Army National Guard and Reserves from ?.
