Smith, Shirley E. (Marriage - 11 May 1968)

Shirley E. Smith of Durand and Randy M. Girard of Neillsville were married May 11 in the United Methodist Church in Durand by the Rev. Arvid E. Morey. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Norman L. Smith of Durand and Mr. and Mrs. Merwyn James Girard of Neillsville.

Members of the wedding party were Susan Smith of Durand, Peg Girard of Neillsville and Linda Wayne of Durand; Kenneth Van Doren of Oak Creek; James Girard and Russell Ratsch of Neillsville; and Michael Rosenberg of Durand. Candle lighters were Dennis L. Smith and Jay Girard. Ushers were Kenneth Smith and Ronald Plumer, both of Durand.

Mr. and Mrs. Girard have left on a wedding trip to Pensacola, Fla., where they make their home.
