Lindsey Margaret Ray (01 AUG 1963)
The Sharon Christian Church, West Palm Beach, Florida,
was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Miss Margaret Ray Lindsey, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond R. Lindsey, West Palm Beach, Florida to Gordon Jerome
Delo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Delo, Loyal.
The double ring ceremony was held at 4:30 in the
afternoon with the church decorated with gladiolas and pom-poms and two
candelabras.
The bride was given in marriage by her father with the
bride’s sister Mrs. Fred Turner as matron of honor, attired in a street length
dress of white organdy over yellow taffeta and matching hat and carried a
cascade bouquet of yellow Shasta daisies.
Miss Marilyn Roberts as bridesmaid attired in whit
organdy over green taffeta with matching hat, and carried a cascade bouquet of
white Shasta daisies.
Miss Sharon Brown, cousin of the bride, bridesmaid, wore
a street length dress of white organdy over pink taffeta with matching hat,
carried a cascade bouquet of white Shasta daisies.
Miss Mary Ann Carigan, bridesmaid wore a white organdy
over blue taffeta with matching hat and carried a bouquet of white Shasta
daisies.
Carol Marie Lindsey, cousin of the bride, flower girl
wore a full length dress of yellow organdy, trimmed in white lace.
Fred Turner, brother in law of the bride served as best
man.
Ushers were David Jorden brother of the bride, Wallace
Hatfield and Arthur S. Hillbrath Jr.
Douglas Hillbrath was ring bearer carried the rings on a
white satin pillow trimmed in velvet.
The bride wore a long sleeve all lace V neck gown with
rows of alternating lace and nylon ruffles forming a chapel train.
She carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids and miniature carnations.
She had a finger tip length veil with a crown of seed pearls and lace.
The groom is a 1958 graduate of Loyal High School.
He has served four years in the US Air Force.
He is presently employed by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Corporation of
Palm Beach County, Florida.
The bride is a 1962 graduate of Forest Hill High School
in West Palm Beach and is presently a student nurse at Palm Beach Junior
College.
The couple will take a short honeymoon in southern
Florida, following that they will reside at 718 South “F” Street, Lake Worth,
Florida.
