Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Behnke, route 3, Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. John G. Paschke, route 3, Greenwood.

For her wedding the bride chose a white lace floor length gown with a lace jacket and white accessories.  She carried red roses and carnations against a lace fan background.

The bride’s sister, Mrs. Marie Hocking of Belvidere, Illinois, served as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Louise Edwards, another sister of the bride and Alice Oestreich, a cousin of the groom.  They were attired in street length dresses of taffeta under nylon in a turquoise color.  Each carried a fan shaped arrangement of daisies and greens.

Gust Paschke, Greenwood, served his brother as best man and groomsmen were Jack Edwards, Genoa, Illinois, a brother in law of the bride and Darryl Dulgar, also a brother in law of the bride, from Caledonia, Illinois.  Ushering duties were performed by Art W(bad copy), Milwaukee, a cousin of the groom; Jimmy Paschke, Greenwood, a brother of the groom; Clinton Hocking, Belvidere, a brother in law of the bride; and Terry Meckley, Davis Junction, Illinois, a nephew of the bride.

The bride’s mother saw the wedding in a light blue flowered dress with a corsage of ivory orchids.  A dark blue flowered dress with an orchid corsage was worn by the groom’s mother.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony at Harry’s Hall in Riplinger.

The bride is a 1963 graduate of Loyal High School and her husband attended Greenwood High School.  Following their wedding trip the couple will make their home on the groom’s farm on route 1, Loyal.
