The bride ascended the altar in a floor length bridal gown of Chantilly lace styled with a jewel trimmed Sabrina neckline and long sleeves.  The full hoop skirt of lace over taffeta net ruffles was fashioned by all around tiers ending in a chapel sweep.  Her finger tip imported illusion veil was attached to a crown with crystal trim.  Red roses surrounded by white gardenias and lily of the valley, centered with a white orchid and streamers decked with red roses and lily of the valley were carried by the bride.

The maid of honor, Barbara Degenhardt, a sister of the bride and the bridesmaid, Eileen Ausbourne, Spencer, a sister of the groom, wore street length formals of orchid nylon sheer with a draped neckline and cap sleeves.  A smooth fitting midriff topped with fully gathered skirt which was completed in back by a self fabric rose and sash.  Halo veils were attached to their matching crowns which were trimmed with pearls.  They carried bouquets of orchid and white carnations.

The groom chose his brother, Allen Rottscheit, Spencer to be his best man and Darrell Brost, Marshfield, as groomsman.  Ushers were Paul Degenhardt, Abbotsford, a brother of the bride, and Bob Rottscheit, Marshfield, a cousin of the groom.

Wedding day events included a reception at the home of the bride’s parents and a dinner and supper which were served in the church dining hall.

The bride who is a 1960 graduate of Loyal High School is employed at Stufo(sp) Toy Factory in St. Pau., Minnesota.  Her husband was graduated in 1959 from Columbus High School, Marshfield and is employed at the McCroey Corporation in St.  Paul.  The couple is making their home in St. Paul.
