Kuehling, Amanda (10 AUG 1895 - 10 JAN 1964)

Mrs. Amanda Kuehling, Unity, died at the age of 68 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Friday afternoon.

The services were held Monday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. The Rev. Robert Langseth officiated. Burial was made at the town of Brighton Cemetery, Unity.

The Trinity Lutheran Men's chrous sang "Follow Me,", accompanied by Mrs. Ansel Messer on the piano.

Pallbearers were Albert Matson, Salem Erickson, Leonhard Nickel, Gust Carlson, Emil Martins and William Schultz.

Mrs. Kuehling was born in Dodge County on Aug. 10, 1895. She came to Unity with her parents as a young girl. On Dec. 7, 1915 she married Otto Kuehling at Wausau.

The Kuehlings have farmed west of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.) since their marriage. Mrs. Kuehling was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and was active in the church women's organization.

Survivors are her husband, Otto; three sons, Richard and Norman, Unity, and Harold, Racine; two brothers, Ed Glaman, Marshfield, and Arthur Glaman, Waukesha' two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Alma) Kresinski, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Clifford (Minnie) Dezell, Milwaukee; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Out of town people in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Glaman, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuehling, Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kresenski, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dezell, Mr. and Mrs. Art Glaman, Mrs. Clarence Wesinzer, Richard Glaman, Judy Kuehling, of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kuehling, Tomahawk, and many other relatives from Marshfield, Stratford, Wis. Rapids, almond, Milwaukee, Wausau, Waukesha, Tomahawk and Colby.
