Henry Sternitzky, our town chairman, has been called upon to distribute the food pledge cards in this town. Miss Ann was assisting her father in the work Tuesday and many housewives signed the pledge.

Miss Rose Yankee returned from her visit at Park Falls and other places last week Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson were shoppers at Neillsville on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arno Ross have taken up their residence in Granton.

James Sternitzky has been on the sick list for several days.

John Ure transacted business in Neillsville the latter part of last week.

Miss Anna Hankey has been on the sick list for the past week and unable to attend to the work on her place. Wm. Dankemyer attended to the work part of last week.

The services at teh town hall Sunday afternoon by Rev. Grenfell were well attended. There will be services next Sunday at 3 p.m. and a Sunday school will be organized. All parents with children are requested to come and bring the children and everybody is invited to come and attend.

Alvin Cole transacted business at Neillsville the latter part of last week.

E.F. Brooks and Aug. Reimer canvassed the town of Lynn for Liberty Bonds, securing many.
