Miller, Diane Earlene (Marriage - 13 January1968)

Miss Diane Earlene Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller of Withee, exchanged nuptial vows in a double ring ceremony Saturday with Thomas M. Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson of Curtiss.

The Rev. H. W. Luetkehoelter performed the 3 p.m. nuptial ceremony in the Nazareth Lutheran Church, the altar of which was graced with bouquets of white flowers. Mr. Miller gave his daughter in marriage.

The bride chose a floor-length gown of delustered satin, fashioned with long, tapered sleeves and a scoop neckline, accented with re-embroidered Alencon lace and studded with gleaming crystals and pearls. The A-line skirt was highlighted by a detachable train that swept into chapel length. Her bouffant veil was secured to a forward cloche of sheer tulle petals with a pearl center. She carried a bouquet of red roses with white satin ribbon streamers.

Bridal attendants were Miss Lois Oftedahl of Viroqua as maid-of-honor; Mrs. Betty Missling of Shawano, Miss Jane Hanley of Stanley and Miss Nancy Nourse of Thorp bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaid was Carol Peterson of Curtiss. Each aide was seen in a floor-length Princess shimmers of green velvet. Their long, sheer Nile green chiffon sleeves featured cuffs of velvet. They carried bouquets of green tinted carnations.

The ringbearers was Jeff Nourse of Thorp. Nancy Peterson served as flowergirl.

Dick Peterson of Curtiss was bestman. Groomsmen were Robert Missling, David Hatlestad and Mark Miller. Ushers were Don Miller and Ron Kallio.

The bride, a 1966 graduate of Owen-Withee High School has attended Wisconsin State university-River Falls. Mr. Peterson, a 1965 graduate of Owen-Withee high School, has attended Wisconsin State University-River Falls and has transferred to Wisconsin State University-Oshkosh, where the couple will make their home.
