Fields, Dempsey (1811 - 27 Aug 1896)


Died, Dempsey Fields at the home of his son in Shortville, Clark County, Thursday, Aug. 27, 1896, at the age of 85 years.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Hill, and the remains were interred in the Levis Cemetery.

He leaves one son and three daughters to mourn his loss.

Mary Dickinson; 2 Sep. 1735–17 Oct. 1779


When Mary Dickinson was born on 2 September 1735, in Haddam, Hartford, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America, her father, Azariah Dickinson, and her mother Hepzebah Walkeley were both 26 yrs. old at the time of Mary's birth.  Mary  married Samuel Field on 11 April 1754, in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America. She and "Sam" were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters.
