Johnson, Clarence Edwin (10 JUN 1930 - 1 OCT 1984)


Clarence Edwin Johnson, 54, Route 4, Box 181, Marshfield, died Monday, Oct. 1, 1984 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be officiated at the Rux Funeral Home in Spencer on Thursday, Oct. 4, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Ronald Johnson of Crandon, Wis. Burial will be in the Curtiss Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Pallbearers will be James Schoolmen, Michael, Jeffrey, Daniel and John Oelrich, and Tom Morkin.

Mrs. Johnson was born June, 10, 1930 at Chippewa Falls to Edwin and Theresa (nee Hansen) Johnson.

He graduated from Owen, Clark County, High School in 1948. He was in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict and Japan Occupation from 1951 - 1953. On Oct. 25, 1958, he married Alice Oelrich at Spencer. They farmed north of Owen. He worked for the Oldsmobile Garage at Withee, and the Spencer Farmers coop.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one step-brother.

He is survived by his wife two children, Clifford Johnson of Spencer and Jane Johnson of Marshfield one brother, Harris Johnson, Curtiss one sister, Lucille Grande, Medford one step-sister, Marjorie Wagner, Milwaukee one step-brother, Russell Martinson, Tempe, Ariz. and one half-brother, Roger Johnson, Fond du Lac.

Rux Funeral Home in Spencer is handling the arrangements.
