Weyhmiller, Dale V. (24 JAN 1916 - 11 MAY 1984)


Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Monday, May 14, 1984, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, for Dale V. Weyhmiller, 68, of Route 1, Loyal, Town of Sherman, Clark County.

Mr. Weyhmiller died on Friday evening May 11, 1984, at his home.

Officiating at the service was Rev. James Logan. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Dale Weyhmiller was born on Jan. 24, 1916, in the Town of Sherman to George and Catherine (nee Crossen) Weyhmiller. He was educated at St. Anthony's School and graduated from Sparta High School.

On Sept. 12, 1936, he and Ruth Lucht were married at Loyal. After their marriage, he sold insurance for Lynn Mutual Insurance Agency for 20 years, besides farming all his life in the Town of Sherman.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a chairman of the Town of Sherman for eight years.

Survivors include his wife one daughter, Mrs. Peter (Judy) Hoeffel of Hastings, Minn. three sons, James of Kalamazoo, Mich., Tom of Denver, Col., and Richard of Rockford, Ill. one brother, Mike of Loyal one sister, Mrs. Robert (Armella) Rossman of Eau Claire and nine grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Michael Weyhmiller, Keith Weyhmiller, Robert Weyhmiller, Gary Bertz, Dale Rothamer, and Leland Larson. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
