Lewis, Leslie (1913 - 2002)

LOYAL - Leslie Andrew Lewis, 88, of Loyal, formerly of Granton, died Feb. 18, 2002, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

He was born Dec. 17, 1913, in Richland Center to Andrew and Elva (nee Catlin) Lewis. He married Clara Sternitzky on June 26, 1934, in Granton. He farmed in Granton until 1970, retiring due to ill health.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Lewis of Loyal two daughters, Lois (Tom) Ziegler-O'Donnell of Carlsbad, Calif., and Loretta (Edward) Grobe of Rapid City, Mich. six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and his sister, Betty Lewis of Withee.
