Moberg, Elery (1902 - 1982)


Elery (Swede) Moberg, 80, Route 1, Greenwood, Town of Loyal, Clark County, died Friday noon, Nov. 26, 1982, at his home.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 29, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Rev. Norbert Miller officiated and interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Klapatauskas, Andrew Becker, Michael Luck, Malcolm Sohm, Steve Prewitt and Bruce Wagner. Mrs. Donna Olson was the soloist and Mrs. Gary Schultz the organist. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Elery Moberg was born to Olaf and Christine Moberg on Feb. 16, 1902, at Greenwood. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1921.

On Sept. 26, 1932, he and Ruth Redmond were married in Neillsville (the rest of my copy was cut off)
