The meeting at the Methodist Church last Friday evening for the organization of a choir, was a success, many of the singers of this place being present, and all taking a lively interest in the work. Mr. C. A. Lamoreux was appointed leader of the choir and Mr. Dick as assistant. Mrs. Bodle and Miss Eva Pool were appointed organists. We think we speak the minds of Spencer people when we say that we are glad that a choir has at last been organized, and feel certain that with such members as are now in the choir, it will prove to be a success.
