Paun, Louie R. (16 May 1926 - 3 January 1983)

GRANTON -- Services for Louie R. Paun, 56, Route 2, Granton, who was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville Monday afternoon, will be Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville.

The Rev. Charles Schumacher of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Chili, will officiate and burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation will be at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

He was born May 16, 1926, at Granton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John (Mary "Billy") Paun. He received his education at Granton and Neillsville, graduating from Neillsville High School in 1943.

He was employed by Hiles Construction of Granton for several years and then by Gordon Doine Trucking, Marshfield. he was also employed by Neillsville Co-op Transport before retiring.

He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Paun of Granton; and two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Steinwagner of Granton and Mrs. George (Marjorie) Nielsen of Wisconsin Rapids.

He was predeceased by his father, two brothers, Ronald and Norman and a sister, Rosetta.
