Hayton, Lloyd Allen (18 December 1942 – 7 January 2021) With Flag

Lloyd Allen Hayton, age 78, of Colby, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Glenhaven Nursing Home in Glenwood City.

Lloyd was born on December 18, 1942 in Withee, to Lloyd and Esther (Wedin) Hayton. He enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. He was united in marriage to Sharon Ruud on January 18, 1964 in Reno, Nevada. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2008.

Lloyd was an owner operator truck driver for over forty years.

Lloyd is survived by his children: Shellie Nelson (Cory Darwin) of Glenwood City and Ronald (Stephanie) Hayton of Texas; two grandchildren: Megan and MacKensie Peterson: a lifelong friend: Diane Keller of Colby; and a sister: Linda (Barb Wulfers) Asplund.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Sharon; and a brother: Jim Asplund.
