Petke, Gloria Jean (25 February 1951 – 4 January 2021)

Gloria Jean Petke, age 69, of Owen, passed away at the care of Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Eau Claire on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Gloria was born on February 25, 1951 at the home of her parents Ray and Doris (Peterson) Petke. She was educated and graduated from Owen-Withee High School. Gloria then graduated from a school in Milwaukee and then worked in the St. Paul area as a computer processor. She move back to the Owen-Withee area and had several jobs over the years including waitressing, health care, four years at Welcome Dairy and dairy farming for a short time.

Gloria is survived by her one son, Raymond (Jess) Petke of Eau Claire; two grandchildren: Amelia and Raymond; three sisters: Peggy Looker Banks of Chicago, IL, Dawn Marie Skowronek and Wendy (Malen) Juzwiak all of Withee. She is further survived by three nephews, three nieces, six great-nephews and two great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Gary Dean.

Gloria will be most remembered for her big heart and her willingness to help anyone at the drop of a hat without question never expecting anything in return. We will all miss her and cherish the fond memories.
