The Bartnik families owned properties in Holton Township (Marathon Co.), I think mostly north of County A -- in the NE corner of "Township 29 North Range 2 East" as shown on Plat maps.  Four of the sons of Andreas & Susanna Bartnik moved to Oregon, and looking at the dates I have relating to that I would guess that this photo was taken about 1908.

My Great-grandfather John Schwermer is on the right, holding the lead to his horses, Prince and Queen.  His father-in-law and brother-in-law (Joseph and Frank Hollmann) are standing behind him, along with Jake Bartnik.  Paul Bartnik, who married Frances Hollmann, is on the far left.  Frank Fleckenstein is also in the photo (4th from the left?) -- his sister, Christina, married Frank Hollmann.

The names were written on the back of this photo are: Left to right: Paul Bartnick, Joe Erlei, Albert Schade, Frank Fleckenstine, Albert Sauter, ? Hansen, ?, Harry Knack, Andrew Braunucker, Lorence Bartnick, Ed Knack, Bruno Muehler, Rudolph Galistle, Albert Knack, Louie Merhaut, Erickson, Joseph Hollman, Frank Hollman, John Schwermer (Prince) and Jake Bartnick.
