The above photo of Mary (Walkus)
Stankiewicz was taken in 1890 in
Illinois, before the Stankiewicz family settled in the Neillsville, Wisconsin
area (Sec. 14, Levis Township) during 1895. Mary was born in August 15,
1834 and died January 11, 1922. She is buried in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
