EMMA BELTER/ADOLPH SCHWARZE MARRIAGE

Mr. Adolph Schwarze of this city (Greenwood, Clark County) and Mrs. Emma Belter of Wausau were united in marriage at 5:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 1935, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Schwarze, Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiated.

The groom is one of our best known businessmen. He was born in the Town of Warner and for the past thirty-one years has been a resident in Greenwood. For several years he clerked in a store here and later went into the implement business in which he is still engaged.

Mr. Schwarze has taken an active interest in the welfare of this city. He has held various city offices and and present is president of the Framer's Merchants Bank, president of the Greenwood Food Products Co., past president of the Wisconsin Implement Dealers Association and is now a member of the advisory board of this association.

Mrs. Schwarze, although a stranger to most of us, is well known and highly respected in her home community. She was born at Wisconsin Rapids, and for the past few years has made her home at Beloit and Wausau.

The couple was attended by Miss Alvera Dahlby and Durward Schwarze, son of the groom.

Immediately after the wedding a reception was held at the home of the groom. A 6:00 dinner was served to a few of the immediate relatives.

The couple will leave today for a ten day outing at the Schwarze cottage at Moose Lake, after which they will return to Greenwood to reside.

The many friends of the newlyweds join the Gleaner in extending congratulations and best wishes.
