EMMA HENDREN/FRED ANTHONY BALL MARRIAGE
At eight o'clock last evening, at the home of the bride's parents in this city, occurred the marriage of Miss Emma Hendren to Mr. Fred Anthony Ball, of Stevens Point.

The rooms were handsomely decorated with chrysanthemums and smilax. The parlor, where the ceremony was performed, was furnished with white furniture. In the northeast corner, suspended from the ceiling, was a canopy of smilax scattered through with white chrysanthemums, with a large bunch tied at the top. A jardinière filled with the chrysanthemums stood on either side of the canopy.
The sitting room was tastily furnished with yellow chrysanthemums, while the dining room was decorated with pink chrysanthemums, the who having a very beautiful effect.

Promptly at eight o'clock the bridal party formed at the head of the stairs and was led by Elsie Barlow and Edith McIntyre, each making an aisle with white ribbon and smilax. Next came the bride's father, Rev. W. T. Hendren, who performed the ceremony. Following him were Miss Beatrice McMillan of Neillsville, maid of honor, and D. A. Taylor, of Stevens Point, best man. The bride and groom followed, taking their places on a white velvet rug beneath the canopy. The bride was dressed in white taffeta and carried white chrysanthemums, while the maid of honor, dressed in white organdie, carried pink chrysanthemums. The ring ceremony was used.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony the bridal party with the guests, sat down to refreshments. At 9:30 the part left for Neillsville where they took the midnight train for Stevens Point, the future home of Mr. and Mrs. Ball, where they will be at home to their friends at 313 East Avenue after January first.

About thirty guest were present, those from out of town being the groom's mother, Mrs. John Ball, and sister, Miss Katherine, and Miss Anna Mason, his niece, all of Stevens Point from Neillsville were Messrs. R. M. Campbell, J. D. McMillan, and O. G. Trip, with their wives. Mrs. A. W. Clark of Rhinelander was also present.

The Gleaner joins with their Greenwood, Clark County friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Ball the best of wishes, long life and happiness.
