Carl Steder

Dies at Age 83

Carl P. Steder, 83, of 526 Dunning St., died Friday (8 Dec 1972) at home after a brief illness. A native of Colby, Wisconsin (b. 18 Jan 1889), Mr. Steder, a street car and bus company employee until he retired in 1954, was a Madison resident for 50 years. He married the form Theresa Beck in 1913. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Cerny, 1905 Midmoor Rd.; and two grandsons. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Ryan Funeral Home, 235 King St.

*Carl P. was the son of Conrad John Steder and Anna Margaret Steder.
