John Henry Steder (9 Oct 1884, Colby, Wis. - 31 Oct 1925)

John Henry Steder, for many a year of Holder, Wisconsin, a small town near Wausau, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Steder, 1221 South Fitteenth street Saturday afternoon at 8:30, the demise being due to a complication of diseases. The funeral will be held from the home of the parents tomorrow morning with service at St. Boniface Catholic church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be at Calvary.
Born October 9, 1884 (in Colby, Clark Co., Wisconsin) Mr. Steder was forty-one years of age. He attended the local schools and was married September 13, 1910 to Miss Rose Daul who with seven children Adelaide, Dorothy, Anna, Henry, Alvin, Francis and Ellsworth survive to mourn his death. His parents a brother, Carl T. Steder of Madison and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Zinkel of the town of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Charles Wank of Portland, Oregon, also survive him. Mr. Steder had made his home at Holder, Wisconsin for many years, being employed as a painter and decorator. He was a member of the E. F. U. and of the Holy Name society.
