Wasn't that a sweet foretaste last Tuesday, of what is coming pretty soon again.

Mrs. Mary Fulwiler returned home Saturday from a week's visit at Loyal.

Miss Anderson, who teaches in District No. 2, went to Neillsville last Saturday to listen to a lecture on Red Cross work, but when she got there she couldin't find either hide nor hair of it.

John Lastofka sold some stock to Fay and Will Livingston last week.

Dan Tiemrson and family spent Sunday afternoon at the M.C. Alton home.

The weather was so inclement and unfavorable during Loyal days, so this section of the globe was not very well represented.

Miss Gladys Parrett spent last week at her sister's home at Heintown.

Mr. and Mrs. John Lastofka autoed over to Granton Saturday on a shopping trip.

Frank Lueck filled silo for Ell Heck last Friday.
