Neighbors and friends helped Mrs. Ed Prange celebrate her birthday last week
Wednesday.
Herman Gluch, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Garbisch and daughters Ella and Adelia, Ernst
Schroeder and sons Kelvin and Deforest, Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Riedel and Grandma
Keuer were Neillsville callers last week Saturday.
A number of young folks took in the dance at Chili last Saturday evening and all
reported a very good time.
Mrs. Fred Riedel called on Mrs. Ed Prange last week Wednesday.
Arthur and Carlie Opelt of Levis were seen on our street with a herd of horses,
which they drove to R. Paulson at Granton last Wednesday.
Emma Riedel and Mrs. Herman Gluch and daughter Irene, and her aunt were guests
at the home of Mrs. Carl Braatz last week Wednesday at the Ladies Aid.
Herman Gluch is busy hauling wood to Granton.
Mrs. Math. Marx and daughters Josie and Rose called on friends in our
neighborhood last Sunday afternoon.
Willie Molig of Globe spent several days with Mr. And Mrs. Oswald Pischer.
Ernie Schroeder, who has been on the sick list, is better at this writing.
Miss Alvina Schoengarth called on Clara Garbisch Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Gluch and daughter Lila and grandma spent Sunday afternoon at
the home of Aug. Gluch and Archie Howard at Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gluch entertained friends last Sunday.
Ed Prange made a business trip to Neillsville on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruss did shopping at Neillsville Friday.
Henry Garbisch sawed wood at F. Vine's Monday and Tuesday.
Willie Molig called at the home of Henry Garbisch and John Gluch last Sunday.
Selma Krause is here staying with her grandma Mrs. Aug. Krause and attending
German school since Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mitchell and Ernest Ayers were Granton callers Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Krause spent Monday at Granton.
A happy bunch of young folks gave Clara Garbisch a birthday surprise party. The
evening was spent in singing and playing games. Refreshments were served at
midnight, and all report a very good time.
Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Pischer and daughter Viola were Neillsville callers last
Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch entertained friends from Neillsville last Sunday
afternoon.
Our teacher Miss Daphne Beeckler in District No. 4 will give a program and
basket social the latter part of this month. Date will be given next week.
Everybody is welcome. Bring a basket.
