Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson went to Kaukauna this past weekend for the celebration of the first mass of their nephew, the Rev. Mark Schommer, who was ordained Saturday. On Sunday, they also attended the confirmation of their grandson, Tommy Switlick at Green Bay.

Mr. and Mrs. James Wilde Jr. and Audrey, Dennis and Ricky Sossaman, who make their home with their uncle and aunt, have moved to the former Morris Wussow home at route 2, which they have purchased. Mr. and Mrs. Wussow and two sons moved intot he Albert Specht house at 502 S. Main vacated by the Wildes.

Mrs. Walter Kossian received word of the death of her brother, Merrill Woods, Fort Atkinson, on June 1. Mrs. Kossian traveled to Fort Atkinson to attend his funeral and returned home Wednesday, June 5.

Mrs. Anna Smart was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield June 8, and had major surgery June 5.

Mr. and Mrs. William Sachse, Mrs. Clara Eder, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Prange of Unity, and Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Augustine attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William Prange at Ridgeland Sunday, June 9.

Mr. and Mrs. William D. Waldhart and family of Appleton spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. Henry Van Dreel and Mrs. Edna C. Waldhart, and with her mother, Mrs. Van Dreel at the hospital in Marshfield.

Mrs. Edna C. Waldhart and son Buzzie spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Anna Smart and Mrs. Henry Van Dreel at the Marshfield Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pudlas and daughter of Hale Dane, Ill., visited from Sunday to Thursday at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Orth, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tyznik have purchased the former Kumbier house on Second St. The Tyznik family moved from Dorchester Saturday.

Mrs. Pauline Glenzer entertained her pinochle club Tuesday, June 4. The prize winners were Mrs. Florence Miller, Mrs. Edna Nagel and Mrs. Martha Hafeman.

Inadvertenly omitted from previous publication was the news concerning a graduation party held in honor of Miss Ruth Kaiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kaiser, who had received her diploma from St. Mary's Catholic School. Dinner and supper guests for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barr, Jeff and Diane, Mrs. Alma Schemenauer, Wittenberg, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Kaiser and family.
