It is always uncertain to tell the weather ahead. It is just as uncertain to
play a game on somebody else.
Otto Sampe our cheesemaker sold his factory to Mr. Groenthe from Clintonville
who will take possession about March 1st and move his family about April 1st.
Ed. Toble bought the lot just west of L. A. Reichert’s store.
Albert Gotter has been hauling wood the last week.
The Handy Advertising show troup after showing all week, left Sunday night for
the east. There was never a great crowd until Sat. night when the Company took
in money enough to get out of town. One member stayed here.
Miss Julia Tragsdorf who had been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Degener left for
Neillsville, her home Monday afternoon.
Ed. Toble is buying up calves to do a little business, just for business sake.
He bought a cow and a calf from Gottlieb Bertschinger and also a calf from W. A.
Wendorf.
Jack Malamphy our section boss is going to get the Marshfield section in the
near future.
