The Mesdames Al Nonhof and Arthur Lammers did shopping in Neillsville Thursday.

Truman Davis, John Pietenpol and Lloyd Kimball hauled hay for Frank Davis, Saturday. If you want to know how to tip over with a load of hay ask them.

Mrs. Jake Schafer, Mrs. Frank Krejci and daughter Emma called on Effie Davis last week Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. John Breese and Mrs. John Fuller were guests at the Chas. Hayden home, Friday.

Truman Davis had the misfortune to lose a 3-year old colt last Thursday afternoon by the top of a straw stack falling on top of it.

Arthur Lammers is a kind hearted soul. So last week while in Neillsville he came across a young man with a horse, an empty pocket book and a great desire to see his best girl, who lives in Wausau. Arthur soon settled that by buying the horse which he says is a fine beast with great marks (which were made by the harness.)

Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer and son Gerald came Sat. and stayed until Sunday with her mother Mrs. Krause.

Mrs. Geo. Huntley visited her children in York Center Friday and was accompanied home by three of her grand-daughters who remained until Sunday when their parents came after them.

Emil Krause’s heart was full of hope the other day when on looking on the back of his sleigh he discovered a lady sitting there. He thought of its being leap year, but it’s evident she didn’t.

Hale Davis and wife, brother Lou and sister Mrs. Pietenpol drove to Heathville to see their brother Frank who is greatly improved in health.

Henry Vanderweiss spent Sunday at his home near Chili.

John Pietenpol and wife took dinner at Al Nonhof’s Tuesday.

Freeman Dankemyer, brother Leo and Sister Hannah drove out to the Krause home Sunday after Mrs. Dankemyer.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foemmel Sr. had a family re-union Sunday in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Walter Rowe called on Effie Davis Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Roehl Sundayed with his sister Mrs. Miller and family.

The Mesdames John Pietenpol, Price Lee and Truman Davis assisted Frank Davis and family in getting settled in their new home.

Dr. Schweinler of Neillsville was called out to Geo. Roots to attend a sick cow, Wed.

Emil Krause hauled wood to Neillsville several days last week for Truman Davis.
