Mell Turner is reported quite seriously sick and not expected to survive.

Mrs. Balfanz had an auction sale last Friday to dispose of her furniture and on Saturday she went to North Fredom. She had been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Diercks for the past two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe returned home Monday from their visit in South Milwaukee and Marinette.

March didn’t come in like a roaring lion and we hope it won’t go out that way.

Will Vande Berg has sold his silo to John Walter of Heintown.

Mrs. Tom Pickel of Antigo and her sister, Mrs. Ross, spent Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin O’Brien.

Wm. Garvin went to Spokeville Sunday for a visit with relatives.

A.W. Hales, E. Grabe, Fred Zwick, Guy Winn, Nick Wieruszeuski, C.L. Winn, Vet Pease and F.E. Greeler went to Granton last Saturday to attend the A.S. and E. convention.

Mead Bros. passed thru here last Friday with a drove of horses.

Sarah May Davis and Dale Fulwier who are attending High School at Neillsville are home this week on account of sickness. Miss Davis has mumps and the latter has a severe cough, and went to Granton Tuesday to consult Dr. Ross.
