Neillsville Locals (7 September 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lockhart and family of Eau Claire spent part of the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hoesly. On Saturday evening, they attended the reunion of her graduating class.

Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach visited Sunday with their son, Clyde, and family in Durand.

Allan Hoesly returned Monday from Egg Harbor, where he had summer employment. He was an overnight guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hoesly, and left Tuesday to begin his senior year at River Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rizner and son of Chicago, Ill., spent the weekend with his father, Mike Rizner, and other area relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Shaw and family of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMert.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zabler of Milwaukee were weekend guests of their daughter, Mrs. Bruce Tibbett, and family, and visited her sisters, Mrs. Oscar DeMert and Mrs. Ella Stucki.

Mr. and Mrs. Darcy Gross and children of Milwaukee were weekend guests of his mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gress of Stevens Point spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gress. Miss Sally Gress of Madison also was a weekend guest at the Donald Gress home.

Mrs. Frank Senger returned Saturday from Milwaukee, where she visited for several weeks with her brother-in-law and sister, mr and Mrs. William Horle, who brought her home. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Owens of Withee were guests at the Senger home Sunday. The three ladies are sisters.

Tim Harvey telephoned his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harvey, last Friday, telling them that he arrived safely in Forest Grove, Ore. He made the 2,200 mile drive alone. He has enrolled there for his fourth year of college, entering this year into the college of optometry at Pacific University. This is his second year (words missing.)
