Much, Linda L. (21 November 1949 - 28 September 2012)

Linda AL. Much, 62, of Unity died peacefully at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, surrounded by her family.

Linda was born in Stevens Point Nov. 21, 1949, to Ralph and Mabel (Bellinger) Turner. She was a 1962 graduate of Oconomowoc High School. After her education, she moved to Milwaukee and worked for Wisconsin Gas Company for four years.

She was married to Thomas O Much, March 20, 1970, in Oconomowoc. They moved to Owen after their marriage. Linda was a patient administrator in admitting at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 24 years. She then worked as a waitress in the Redwood Supper Club in Unity for 17 years and retired from Julie’s Café in Spencer.

Linda is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Michelle (John) Novack of Arpin and Chad (Dawn) Much of Spencer; three grandchildren, Austin Hoernke, Brandon and Brody Much; two step-grandchildren, Amy Genisot and Aleasha DeLong. She is further survived by her siblings, William (Corky) Turner of Cherokee Village, AR, Bob Turner of Mesa, AZ, Ann (Mark) Rollefson of Sullivan, Donna (Bill) Wright of Bartlesville, OK, Sandy (Phil) Salzman of Bartlesville, IK, and a sister-in-law, Judy Turner of Oconomowoc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jack and her step-father.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Al Houts will officiate.
