There was an ice cream social in the grove near the church Sunday afternoon.

Byron Mund returned last week from Minnesota.

Grandma Grap, Paul Grap and T. Hemp went to Wausau Saturday, the latter two to remain over Sunday and Grandma Grap will visit a week with the Leo Grap family.

Next Sunday afternoon Rev. Parisius will give an English lecture at the church on the subject, “The Lutheran Church and why we are Lutherans.”

A number of his friends helped J. Fenful raise a log barn Thursday.

A dance was given at Aug. Dudei’s machine shed on Friday evening.

Elsie Mallig returned Thursday from a few days visit in Grant.

The Clark Co. Butter Co. made the first shipment of cheese Monday.

Mrs. Bertha Schoenwetter underwent an operation at the Marshfield hospital last week and is getting along nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Glasow Sr. and son Will autoed to Marshfield Saturday to attend the funeral of Aug. Storm Jr.

The H.H. Eberhardt and Henry Bartell families of Neillsville were here for the ice cream social on Sunday.

Mrs. L. Kalsow and son, Wilbert, went to Granton Saturday to visit her sister for a few days.

Mrs. Ed Gall and children of Park Falls came Monday to visit her sister Mrs. August Dudei and other relatives.

Gottlieb Mallig visited at the Ferdinand Schultz home in Levis over Sunday.
