Peterson, Shaun A. (11 AUG 1977 - 5 SEP 2012)

Shaun A. Peterson, age 35, of Owen, died quietly at his home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Funeral Services were held Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen, Rev. Tom Myhre officiated. Visitation was from 4:00 PM until services at7:00 PM. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Shaun was born on August 11, 1977 in Neillsville to Robert and Sandra (Smith) Peterson. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1996 and attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire.

Shaun was employed at Mann Drywall for several years and then joined the Laborers Union Local 268 and worked for pipeline and construction companies. He was an excellent mechanic and motor head. In his spare time he spent countless hours working on his and his family and friend's vehicles. If it had a gas engine and the parts he could probably fix it.

Shaun was easy going and had a great sense of humor. He was a big Packer fan and enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends. He loved his '67 Mercury Cougar and playing his drum set.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Robert and Sandy Peterson of Owen, his brother, Joel (Kristie) of Owen, his sister, Nicole, and nephew, Kyle, all of Owen, special friend, Kim Friedenfels, and many other family and friends.

Shaun was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milford and Bernice Smith and John and Dahlia Peterson of Withee.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home of Owen is assisting the Peterson family with arrangements.
