Frey, Diane M. (Marriage - 13 May 1967)

Miss Diane M. Frey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Frey of Rt. 3 Marshfield, exchanged marriage vows at noon Saturday with Allen Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer of Loyal, in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield. The Rev. Walter Dillenburg performed the double ring ceremony before an altar graced with bouquets of carnations and gladioli.

The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her in marriage.

For her wedding she chose a floor length bridal gown with a voluminous chapel train that swept from a slender silhouette. Alencon lace enhanced the Sabrina neckline and the dress front. Her large bouffant veil billowed from a petalled headpiece. She carried pink roses and white stephanotis.

Mrs. Pat Lloyd of Marshfield was her matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Virginia Meyer of Loyal. The attendants wore floor length gowns of pink organza over taffeta, styled with lace bodices and sleeves. Small trains extended from the back waistline. Their small veils cascaded from floral headpieces. Each carried three long-stemmed pink roses.

The groom was attended by Larry Meyer of Loyal as best man. Groomsman was Pat Lloyd of Marshfield. Ushers were Richard Meyer of Loyal and Gilbert Spaeth of Marshfield.

Mrs. Meyer is a graduate of Columbus High School in Marshfield and currently is attending St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield. Mr. Meyer, a graduate of Loyal High School, is engaged in farming on Rt. 1 Loyal, where they are residing.
