Mikrut, Cecelia (20 MAR 1877 - 9 MAR 1961)

 

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church here at ten o’clock Monday morning, March 13 for Mrs. Cecelia Mikrut, 84, a resident of this community for the past 55 years, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Jaeger in the Town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.) on Thursday, March 9th, 1961.  Father Francis Disher read the requiem Mass, assisted by Father Becker and Father Wasielewicz.

 

Mrs. Mikrut was born in Poland on March 20, 1877.  She was married to the late Stanley Mikrut in 1906.

 

Surviving children are one son, John of rural Withee, Mrs. Anna Jaeger and son-on-law Louis of Withee, Marie Schwartz and Harriet Parken and son-in-law Ed of Chicago, Ill., granddaughter Phyllis Markowski and three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. John Dura of Chicago.

 

She was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Parish Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Adam Wiater, Gene Stigen, James Pietrzak, Bruno Jarocki, Victor Soborowicz and Harry Hodorowski.
