To Build Church – A new church now under construction will be the first Catholic
Church to be erected at Owen, Wisconsin. It is designed in Gothic style, tile
being used with face brick buttresses. The building will be ready by December 1,
1920.
Rev. Joseph Schuster, pastor of Sacred Heart Church at Withee, will be pastor of
the new church. The church is being built at a cost of $10,000. The membership
will be composed largely of farmers.
