Thomas, Judith Ann (Marriage –1966)

A double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Judith Ann Thomas of Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Thomas of Greenwood, and Stuart Brent Tuthill of St. Petersburg, Fla., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Tuthill of St. Petersburg, was solemnized Saturday afternoon in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood by the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold.  Bouquets of white gladioli and pink carnations graced the altar.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, selected a white floor length full gown, styled with a lace bodice, a Sabrina neckline and tapered sleeves that came to a point at the wrist.  Her three-tiered chapel length train was secured at the shoulder. A double-tiered Princess crown of pearls with lace inserts and pearl tear drops held her elbow length veil. She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and foliage.

Miss Vicky Thomas of Minneapolis, Minn., was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Robin Tuthill of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Miss Shirley Ulesich of Neillsville.  They wore floor length gowns of silk organza over pink taffeta, accented with scoop necklines and elbow length sleeves. The backs featured flower attachments.  Headpieces were four-tiered net petal studded with seed pearls.  Shaded pink carnations and foliage made up their cascade bouquets.

Robert Brush of Atlanta, Ga., was bestman. Groomsmen and ushers were George Lawton and Paul Leintz, both of Minneapolis, Minn.

Mrs. Don Warner accompanied Mrs. Joann Voss as she sang, "O Perfect Love" and "The Wedding Prayer."

The bride, a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1965 graduate of the Minnesota School of Business, is employed as a bank secretary in Minneapolis, Minn.  Mr. Tuthill was graduated in 1960 from the high school in St. Petersburg, Fla.  He received a degree in Sociology from Florida State University at Tallahassee, in 1966.  He is presently teaching at Western Kentucky State College.
