Gac, Sophia C. (19 AUG 1904 - 8 FEB 1961)

 

Mrs. Sophia C. Gac, 56, passed away at her home in the town of Maplehurst on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1961, of a heart attack.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin, on Saturday, Feb. 11.  Rev. Eugene Konopka officiated at the 9:30 a.m. services.  Burial was in the parish cemetery and pallbearers were: Casey, Joseph, Edward, Paul, John and Raymond Gajda.

 

Sophia C. Gajda was born Aug. 19, 1904 at Chicago, Ill.  On April 28, 1923 she married Paul Gac at Chicago, Ill. and in 1944 they came to Lublin where she since resided.

 

Surviving are her husband, Paul; her mother, Mrs. Mary Gajda; one son, Richard of Thorp; one grandson, Paul of Thorp; six brothers, Casey Gajda, Berwyn, Ill., Paul Gajda, Whiting, Ind., Raymond Gajda, Chicago, Jseph Gajda, Ladysmith, Edward and John Gajda, Lublin, two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Julia) Cummings, Chicago, and Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Galorowicz, Withee, Wis.
