Auman, Frances (2 February 1888 - 3 June 1966)

 

Mrs. Frances Auman, 78, of Genoa City, formerly of Willard, died there June 3.

 

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. William Nikolai of Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard officiated. Burial was made in the National Cemetery, Willard.

 

Mrs. Auman, the former Frances Zavell, was born February 2, 1888 in Yugoslavia. She lived in Willard until 1964, when she moved to a nursing home in Genoa City.  Her first marriage was to Frank Gogina, who preceded her in death; her second was to John Auman in 1938.  He died in 1964.

 

Survivors include three sons, Frank, Joseph and Al Gogina, all of McHenry, Ill.; two daughters, Sophie and Ann of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Frank of Chicago and John of Yugoslavia; and five sisters, Mrs. Marion Celar of Greenwood, Mrs. Joseph (Antonia) Petrich, Mrs. Anna Kern, Mrs. Mary Janecek and Mrs. Jennie Schuster, all of Chicago.
