Hansen, Nancy Carol (Marriage - 7 May 1966)

The Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili was the scene Saturday of a double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Nancy Carol Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hansen of Rt. 2 Spencer, and Philip Louis Schilling, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Schilling of Rt. 1 Chili. The Rev. Lloyd L. McCormick officiated.

As the bride entered the church with her father, she was attired in a floor-length organza sheath gown, styled with a bateau neckline and three-quarter length sleeves.  Pearl embroidered Alencon lace made the lace panel front. A large detachable overskirt ended in a chapel train. Her bouffant veil cascaded from a butterfly headpiece of Alencon lace, studded with crystals and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white stephanotis.

Miss Ruth Ann Hansen was maid-of-honor and bridesmaids were Sandy Hansen and Rachel Schilling.  The attendants wore floor-length formals styled with bateau necklines on lace bodices. A satin inset accented the empire waistlines of the sheath skirts of chiffon over taffeta.  The backs were enhanced with lace Watteau panels and bow trim.  Matching petal and satin cluster headpieces held pouf veils.

Dennis Lee served as bestman. Groomsmen were Donald Hansen and Gene Schilling, and ushers were Douglas Gray and Craig Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Schilling will reside on their return from a wedding trip through the eastern states.

The bride has been employed as a secretary in Marshfield, and Mr. Schilling owns and operates a radio and TV service.
