Nordman, Nancy Joy (Marriage - 19 February 1966)

 

Miss Nancy Joy Norman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Norman of City Point, became the bride of August Peter Jordan, son of Mrs. Frederick Jordan of Neillsville, in a nuptial ceremony Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Bernard T. Kelly officiated.

 

Miss Norman a 1965 graduate of Pittsville High School, as given in marriage by her father.  Organ music was played by Mrs. Virginia Gassen.  The bride wore a floor length lace over satin dress designed with a scalloped neckline and long lace sleeves. A two-tiered fingertip veil, lined with white seed pearls, cascaded from her head piece. She carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums and white roses.

 

Miss Kathy Jordan, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.  Miss Dale Sue Nordman, sister of the bride, was her bridesmaid.  They wore light green floor length satin dresses styled with long detachable trains, and matching green headpieces studded with seed pearls. They carried bouquets of chrysanthemums and carnations.

 

Ronald Wren of Neillsville was best man. Groomsman was Paul Jordan of Neillsville.  Ushers were Larry Wren and Jerry Pretsch.


Mr. Jordan a 1963 graduate of Neillsville High School is employed in West Bend, as is his wife. They are residing at 529-A South Main, West Bend.

 

Among the guests here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Reshel and family, Dick Wagner, Shirley Bublitz, Gerald Schultis of Slinger; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schmidt and Judy Wren of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauer of Franksville.

 

Others attending were from: Pittsville, City Point, Black River Falls and Granton.
